One must practice! With or without a real model!

So, I'm getting ready to do a photo shoot tomorrow.  I always try to get some testing done before the clients come in.  Make sure that everything is "just so".  Luckily my niece donated her favorite teddy bear for me to use.  :)

A personal post

I watched a video the other day that reminded me that photography for me is not just about capturing images for others. It's also about capturing images for me and my family. Tonight I took a few minutes before work to do just that. It felt good to take that time for myself and not just pick up my camera when it's time to take off for a photo shoot. Hope you enjoy my "everyday life" photos of my family.  **hugs**

This is my one and only. I love him more today then I did yesterday and will love him even more tomorrow. This photo to me shows his quiet strength. He does not like to pose for photos much but I much prefer the unposed moments anyways :) 

This is photo Chey took of me while I was getting ready for work. I was getting ready to put on my eyeliner and she liked it best because she said it looked like I was writing something. She looks so cute carrying around my big beefy camera with the 70-200 f2.8L lens and battery pack on it. She told me today that she wants a camera. Makes a mama very happy  to see her offspring want to follow her passion :)
Any here is my pretty little angel girl. She has the cutest little side buns up in her hair today. I love that she is getting to where she want so be so cute and stylish (you know vs the stringy hanging hair all the time). Sean's actually been sick for the last couple of days so he was not at all into getting his photo taken today. 
Remember not to forget to capture your own everyday memories for those little things could end up being the big things in life!!

Pictures in 30 degree, blizzarding weather only turn out when two people love each other as much as Jess and Amorita!  Thanks for being such great sports!  I had a wonderful time working with each of you.

I had a great time today with Amorita and Jess! We had some snow left on the ground and even some coming down by the end of  the shoot! Thanks so much for letting Michelle and I be part of your Valentines Day!!
